The VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) is a unique 17-character alphanumeric code assigned to every vehicle, acting as its "fingerprint" and containing information about its make, model, year, and other specifications.
The VIN can usually be found on the driver's side dashboard, near the bottom of the windshield, or on the driver's side door jamb.
When we put an estimate together for you, providing the VIN allows us to give you a more accurate estimate.

Getting your vehicle back on the road is our priority. Before we begin repairs on any vehicle, we will evaluate what work needs to be performed. If the work is within our scope and capability, we can do it right in your driveway.
If we cannot perform a certain repair due to equipment requirements (vehicle hoist, specialized tools, engine crane, etc) we will refer you to an auto repair shop we recommend and trust.
Auto Aid Mobile Mechanic has formed partnerships with various shops within our service radius. These shops will NOT charge you for services which we have already provided such as a diagnostic scan.
If your brakes are making a grinding or squeaking noise, it's time to get them checked. Give us a call or complete an estimate form on our website and we'll inspect your brakes to determine the issue.
You should get your oil changed every 6 months or every 5,000 kilometers, whichever comes first. If you notice your engine oil is low, your oil is dirty, or if your check engine light is on, it's time for an oil change.
No, we do not offer towing services.
However, as a mobile mechanic business, we come right to you. If the job is within our ability, we will perform the repair once we get your permission.
If necessary, we can recommend a trusted local towing company if you need assistance.
We know you work hard and value your time. We're the perfect service for someone who works from home, someone with a busy schedule, single parent, disabled, elderly, or if your vehicle is simply not starting, running poorly, has a check engine light, or simply not safe to operate.

If you want to tow your vehicle to your place of residence, we can meet you there and provide our mobile mechanic service.
Auto Aid Mobile Mechanic is fully insured to work at both residential and commercial spaces - such as driveways and parking lots.
If your vehicle repair is at a residential location, you must be the property owner or have written permission from the property owner.
If your vehicle repair is at a commercial location, written permission from the business or property owner is required.
Auto Aid Mobile Mechanic Inc. is licensed to perform services and repairs to passenger vehicles only.
We have a fully functioning point-of-sale system available on our service vehicle if you need to pay with debit or credit card.
Additionally, we can send a payable invoice to your email so that you can pay online.
If you need to pay with cash, please notify us before we create and estimate, quote, or perform services and/or repairs.
We understand that your life is busy and dynamic. Please cancel your appointment as soon as possible.
If we arrive at your location at the scheduled time and the vehicle owner is not present or available or the vehicle is unaccessible (vehicle is locked and keys are unavailable), Auto Aid Mobile Mechanic reserves the right to leave the location after 30 minutes. The vehicle owner will be responsible to pay the mobile service fee in full - with zero services rendered.
No. You do not need to be present during service or repairs. Please make arrangements with us so that we can locate your keys upon arrival.
No. We can only work on vehicles we are given permission to work on. That permission can only be granted by the vehicle owner.
If you are the spouse, partner, or signification other of the vehicle owner, you will need to get their written permission in order for us to be able to perform services or repairs. This written permission must be shared with Auto Aid Mobile Mechanic Inc. before services or repairs are performed.
We keep record of all services, repairs, estimates and invoices.
